Durrell Challenge 13K: Timings

Please note, Durrell Challenge race packs are not posted to runners. Please ensure you read the information below to find out where and when you can collect your race pack.

Friday 25 September 

17:00 Online registration for the 13K race closes

Saturday 26 September 

10:00–16:00 Manual registration is available at the race marquee in Victoria Park,St Helier, adjacent to the Grand Jersey Hotel & Spa. This is priced at £40.00 and is subject to availability (cash only).

Sunday 27 September 

Runner Arrival by Car: Please note that St Aubin’s Road, which runs adjacent to People’s Park, will be closed from approximately 08:00 as the authorities prepare for the race start. Please park in any of the nearby public car parks (free on Sunday) and walk to the park. If you are being dropped off, please arrive before 08:00 or use the drop-off lane on the Inner Road, which will be coned off in the left-hand lane (approaching from the West) as it nears the ‘Inn on the Park’ roundabout. Please allow plenty of time to make your way to Victoria Park.

07:30 Event registration and race pack collection opens at Victoria Park

08:35 Warm up session for 13K runners in Victoria Park

08:45 Race registration and bag drop close (runners’ bags will be transferred to the finish line at Jersey Zoo)

09:00 13K race starts (Victoria Park)

09:45 Anticipated finish time of the 13K winner (Jersey Zoo)

11:00 Anticipated finish time of last 13K runner

11:15 Official race cut-off time

11:30 Prize-giving ceremony at Jersey Zoo. We encourage all runners, family, and friends to attend the prize-giving. Not all winners are notified in advance, so please attend to ensure you collect your trophies.

Really Wild Day: Timings

Sunday 27 September 

09:00 Jersey Zoo opens for spectators to watch runners cross the finish line

10:00 The Really Wild Day commences. Come and meet Jersey Zoo’s incredible animals and the passionate zookeepers who care for them. Get involved in outdoor activities that allow you to take a walk on the wild side!

18:00 Jersey Zoo closes

Wild Quest: Timings

Sunday 27 September 

10:00 Wild Quest starts at Jersey Zoo. Activity to begin at your own discretion.

15:00 Wild Quest HQ shuts down – booklets must be completed and handed in.
